Shipping & Returns

If you pay by credit card we will endeavour to send out your order the same day if ordered before 3:00pm

Please Note: We prefer to send out orders to the CARDHOLDERS ADDRESS, if you would like to have your order sent to another address other than the billing further security checks may apply. However we may not always be able to send orders to addresses other than the cardholders due to recent high levels of fraudulent transactions.

You will receive an e-mail when your order is dispatched, which will contain a tracking reference if the shipping method you have chosen allows for it.

UK customers choosing Special Delivery will generally receive their order the next business day by 1pm. This is the quickest and most reliable service offered by Royal Mail. Compensation for lost or damaged items is available from the Royal Mail for £500.

Saturday Delivery available starting from £7.25 (order by 3pm Friday).

UK 1st Class Recorded Delivery normally takes around 2-3 days but is not guaranteed and may sometimes take longer.
Recorded Delivery is shipped along with standard first class mail, however it requires a signature upon arrival.

Recorded Delivery items are sent entirely at the customers risk and we can not be held responsible for lost or missing items. Recorded deliveries can also be tracked to a certain extent through the royal mail website at www.RoyalMail.com. Compensation is available for lost packages from the Royal Mail for up to £36.00. Alternative Mind take no responsibility for lost or undelivered goods. It is entirely up to the customer to contact royal mail and make a personal claim if your item is not delivered. We will assist you in this matter only by providing the tracking code for the item.

We do recommend you choose Special Delivery if you want peace of mind and your order to arrive on time as Recorded Delivery is very unpredictable.

Packages to Europe generally arrive within 3 - 4 days and the rest of the world 4 - 8 days.

Please note that packages can take longer to arrive overseas. We are at the mercy of the postal services, and they can be less than reliable!

In addition to this, you should note that sometimes items in your order may be out of stock. We will do our very best to ship your order as soon as possible.

Alternative Mind only deliver orders in discreet packaging.

Saturday Guaranteed delivery by 1pm is available for our UK customers starting from £7.25 Orders must be placed by 3.00pm Friday for this option.

Returns

Please note that all returns for either unwanted or damaged/faulty goods must be confirmed by Alternative Mind by either phone, post or e-mail. Any goods sent back without prior consent from Alternative Mind will be sent back at your cost.

All returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach Alternative Mind.

If you would like to return your items for any reason at all, you may do so within 7 days of receiving your purchase. Items returned must be in a new and unused condition. We will refund the cost of the items; however shipping charges are non-refundable.

When sending goods back please use a trackable service like special delivery as we cannot be held liable for any goods lost in the post.

Faulty products / damaged items:

In the highly unlikely event that an item sent to you is found to be faulty, you may send it back to us for a replacement. We will refund the cost of sending the item back to us. In the UK, items should be sent back via First Class Recorded Delivery. We will not accept extra charges for other courier services or guaranteed next day services. Overseas, items should only be sent back using your country's national postal service. We recommend using an insured delivery method; however we will not accept extra charges for Fed-Ex or other overnight courier services.

Please make sure that you have clearly read any instructions that may have come with the product, or may be displayed on our website, as products found not to be faulty when they come back to us, will be sent back to you at your cost. Please note that our return policy also applies.

Exchanges:

If you would like to exchange your items for different products in our range, you may do so within 7 days of receiving them. Items returned must be in a new and unused condition. Please detail which items you would like as replacements. We will charge your card for the cost of sending these replacements out to you, as well as any extra balance that your updated order may incur. Please note that our return policy also applies.

Cancellations:

All cancellation requests must be made before the order is despatched. If you would like to cancel an order after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone at 07526 688404. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If the order has already been shipped please go to the "Returns" section.

 

A credit card processing fee of 2.5% will be applied to orders that are cancelled after the credit card has been charged. This fee does not apply to orders that have shipped.
