We are delighted to offer genuine organic dried Cactus grown in the Andes region of Peru, slightly more expensive than our standard Peruvian Torch Chips as we are supplying only the outer cactus flesh with the spines, skins and woody core already removed. All cacti is from a sustainable source.
This pack contains genuine dried samples of Trichocereus peruvianus cacti (also known as Peruvian Torch), collected in Matucana-Huarochiri, Peru, at 2100m.
This is an alkaloid-rich cacti with a alkaloid composition similar to Peyote. It is a powerful entheogen used by the shamans and medicine men of Peru for spiritual quests. This cacti is used in Peru much the same way North American Natives use Peyote. Traditionally, Peruvian Torch is either eaten fresh, dried, powdered and consumed, or brewed and concentrated in a way similar to the Ayahuasca preperation.
