Chaliponga 25g (D. Cabreana)

Also known as Oco - yage and Chagropanga, this liana is cultivated all over the Amazon and has a good reputation for use in Ayahuasca brews. More widespread and potent than P.Viridis.

More commonly used in the Ecuadorian Amazon and western Colombian lands. This plant is less used in the Peruvian Amazon and Brazil, where Chacruna is the preferred companion plant. The leaves of the Chaliponga are many times stronger than those of the Chacruna.
Traditionally, the brew is prepared with the equivalent of 10 grams of Chaliponga leaves for each cup, and added with the Caapi vines. The shaman used to lead the ceremony, where he and all the other tribesman drank 1-2 cups of the magical brew, altering their consciousness for 6-8 hours and enabling them to connect with the spirits of the forests, to open their gates to the spirit world and heal their bodies and souls.
