Catmint has a relaxing effect. It is also used for infirmities during menstruation, and to improve sleep. The taste is very nice.

Catmint is relaxing and a mild hallucinogenic. After drinking a strong tea of the herb, it gives a pleasant relaxing, marijuana-like high and has a stimulating effect on the imagination.

Catmint is perfect for a relaxed evening, while listening to music or coming to rest after a busy day.

Catmint can be used in combination with galangal, damiana and valerian root.

Usage:
For tea use 25 grams (approx. 1 oz). Let it boil for a while in 1 litre water, then let it draw for 15 minutes. Sift it and if you like add honey or sugar to taste.

You can also mix a full teaspoon in a glass of water.
